At first I rigged my 5m and wave board but as I walked down the beach the wind dropped off so I went back and got my bigger board instead. The first couple of runs I was underpowered and wished I had rigged my 5.7m. I drifted downwind a bit, but then the wind started filling in again allowing me to get properly powered up and back upwind. The wind then just continued to get stringer and stronger, After half an hour well powered up I had half an hour maxed out followed by a mad half-hour totally overpowered and wishing I had my wave board and 4.5m. Pretty good fun though if nothing spectacular as far as tricks go.
